Jubilee Leadership update to Coronavirus pandemic September 2021

Neil and Hazel Pattison – Lead Couple

As the Covid-19 restrictions imposed to save lives are lifted, we still believe it is correct, right and biblical to support the government in its strategy to limit the impact of the virus across the nation.

How does this affect the way we meet?

Christianity is a lifestyle based on community and personal contact. We must therefore consider how to adapt our lifestyle to maintain interaction within the framework of the government advice and engage with each another safely.

Sunday celebrations

We have restarted Sunday celebrations at a temporary location at the Vine building in Boughton Lane, Loose ME15 9QF at the new time of 3.30 pm. If you want to find out more or connect with us, please contact us or make sure you are registered with the Jubilee website and that you are on the email list – if you’re not then please use the form at the bottom of the page to get in touch with the office team.

We continue to advise visitors follow appropriate covid19 measures according to government guidelines. Contact us for further information.

We look forward to seeing you soon.

Clusters and Home groups

We care for our people in clusters of smaller home groups. The home groups meet during the week and, for the foreseeable future, this will comprise a mixture of physical meeting and social media connection from homes. As the changing guidance allows, our groups will meet in gardens and well-ventilated spaces, and then indoors observing the social distancing measures.

If you are not part of a home group please contact us using the form at the bottom of the page.

Children’s and youth ministry

The Pod Children’s ministry connects via Zoom every Sunday morning and at other times during the year. For more information please contact our Children’s Leader Joani using the form at the bottom of this page.

The Habitation youth ministry meets every Friday night and at other times during the year. For more information please contact our Youth Leaders Brooke, Anna and Ben using the form at the bottom of this page.

Other ministries

Other ministries are meeting primarily using social media platforms, although physical reconnection is becoming possible as the restrictions ease.

Prayer and Support

As a church family we have been serving our neighbours and local community and looking after each other by meeting practical needs and offering friendship and support. We continue to pray for our nation and the nations of the world, for political and scientific leaders as they make difficult decisions, for healthcare staff and other public servants, and for those most badly affected by this disease. If you are in need of support or personal prayer, please call the church office or use the online contact form to get in touch.
